Its Narayan Prasad Sharma, the Lecturer of Psychology in Tribhuvan University (T. U.), Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus at Kathmandu, Nepal. I have also teaching Psychology in BBA program at People's Campus and BPH program at Little Buddha College. My topics of interest are Motivation, Self-determination, Juvenile Delinquency and Research.
In spite of teaching, I have involved in the field of child development especially in positive discipline techniques, juvenile justice, counseling and psychosocial support to the children. As the Juvenile Justice Psychologist, I have involved in Kathmandu District Court. Counseling to burn patients at Bir Hospital is other part of my work.
I have also involving in social work to address the basic needs of the people at backward communities of Nepal through the organization "Friends of Nepali Villages" : operating a school for needy children.
I think, this website will be useful to my students to get resources and the professionals who want to share ideas about psychology and psychosocial support to children. I want to join my hands with them who have similar interest and goal as I have and want to contribute something for social development.
